Possible causes of fragmentation in solar modules
Possible causes of fragmentation in solar modules:
①. Accumulation of tin or tin slag, generated from the failed tin welding process, causes the solar module cells to be crushed during the process of lamination.
②. The solar cells was originally defective.
③. When lifting the solar modules, the hands pressed on the solar cells.
④. The vacuum pressure is too high.
⑤. The welding ribbon is too thin.
Solution:
①.Check the soldering quality in the soldering area before lamination.
②.Check the cell quality before lamination.
③.Train the operator to move the solar modules correctly.
④.Adjust the lamination process, increase the vacuuming time and reduce the vacuum lamination pressure (adjust by the lamination time). and increase the thickness of the EVA interlayer, use the EVA interlayer with the better depth of the embossing.
⑤.Reduce the thickness of the welding ribbon.
Durney, just developed new generation of silicone lamination sheet for TOPCon solar module lamination.
